Autumn is one of my favourite times of the year, as we kiss goodbye to summer, take stock as winter approaches, and be inspired by the possibilities and beauty of spring as it pops up and delights us with new discoveries.
In late May, I had the pleasure of a collaboration photoshoot with the wonderful Riya Reen, who is just a delight to work alongside. We headed to the Christchurch Botanic Gardens to catch some late Autumn glow and we sure did capture some magic.
We were originally going to catch up for an hour or so, but as sometimes happens when there’s magic being created, things went a little longer as we explored different areas of the gardens (we only scratched the surface, I could get lost in here for hours!). It’s definitely a must-visit again in the depths of winter and also Spring, I can’t wait to see the dedicated daffodil area.
