He’s met the love of his life, and she’s met prince charming…
I met Regiane and Peter in Mt Somers Sunday afternoon, and we headed up into the magnificent backcountry around Lake Emma and Lake Camp, in the Ashburton Lakes district for their engagement session. I was expecting the weather to have a chill in the air, but it sure was brisk, and I was so impressed with them both, acting like it was 25 degrees!!!

We drove down the track to Lake Emma and walked out into the tussocks, where the glowy light late afternoon was terrific, and the cloud formations were starting to brew. Little did we know in two and a half hours, after a chat and a cuppa to warm up, would the weather gods give us the most spectacular sunset, glowy light and no wind, making their photos extra special!
I loved getting to know Regiane and Peter and hearing about their work, families, and wedding day plans! I left our time together and thought I’m looking forward to their wedding day; I can just sense every moment of their day will be filled with tradition, many unique details and lots of memories. I’m thrilled to share some of my FAVOURITES from their session.
